Making AI UGC videos for a skincare or beauty brand

A skincare ad that looks like an ad gets scrolled past.

Here is what makes an AI UGC clip believable instead, on TikTok or Reels.

  1. Step 1: Pick one face and keep it

Skincare sells on trust, and trust wants a face people recognise.

Save your best character Reference in Mutator and reuse it for every clip.

TipA new face every video resets the trust you just built.

  2. Step 2: Light it like a bathroom mirror

Beauty content lives in soft, uneven light, not a studio.

One window or one bathroom light beats a perfect three point setup.

TipOvercast light through a window is the most believable light there is.

  3. Step 3: Let the skin look like skin

Smoothed, poreless skin is the fastest way to look fake.

Ask for texture. Real skin has some, and viewers trust it more.

  4. Step 4: Structure it like a routine

Open on the concern, apply the product, then show the result.

That order is the whole script. Nothing else is needed.

TipOne turn, one moment where it changes, is enough for fifteen seconds.

  5. Step 5: Label it as AI-generated

Say plainly that the clip is AI-generated.

Beauty audiences check for this, and being upfront beats being caught.

  6. Step 6: Check the claim before you post

Skincare claims get read closely, more than most categories do.

Check the claim is true, the skin looks real, and you would post it yourself.

Believable is not the same as flattering. Aim for believable.

Keep the face, the light and the label consistent, and trust builds itself.
